Career Connection

Dear Jimi,

I am pleased to inform you that our student, Corey St. Germain, has been hired by KZEL as a part-time/fill-in Air Talentand he's getting a lot of work. He's actually been on the air for several months, and the Career Connection program helped get him there.

The program definitely speeds up the training process, and helps make the student a much more well rounded broadcaster, both on and off the air.

With an enthusiastic student, this program really works for both the student and the mentor. We assist in their education, and they become a more completely trained potential employee through the program.

These days, it can be very difficult to find part-timers with experience, who understand radio. Radio Connection gives them a foundation to build on, and the mentorship angle gets them in the door and hands on, one on one instruction.

Our involvement with Corey has been a very satisfying experience. It's a good feeling to share the knowledge we've spent years acquiring with someone who listens, learns, and takes direction well.
