The Radio Connection teams you up with a mentor who is a currently working commercial announcer. He or she will walk you through the realities of the radio industry. You’ll learn every trick in the book from someone who helped write the book.
You’ll be working in a real radio station proving that you have the drive and the passion to be the best commercial announcer ever. You’ll be helping with all aspects of production. One of the most important aspects of our program is that you’ll be making connections with people who can hire you after you graduate. You’ll be proving to everyone around you that you deserve to stay after your externship is over.
The Radio industry is notoriously hard to break in to. You need to know someone in order to get a job but you need to have the job in order to know someone. It’s similar in many respects to Hollywood.
