SACRAMENTO, CA - Location, weather and quality of life are

or visit. Founded in 1849, the City of Sacramento is the oldest
incorporated city in California and it is the state’s capital. There
are more than 20 area museums and hundreds of great attractions, miles
of recreation trails, scenic waterways, great golf courses, great
restaurants and world-renowned wineries
Some famous people are from Sacramento such as Rodney King and the late
San Francisco columnist Herb Caen. The film Lucky Numbers with John
Travolta and Lisa Kudrow was filmed in an East Sacramento location. The
Sacramento area boasts a diversity of locations including a historic
Gold Rush town, a variety of bridges, two rivers, several lakes, paddle
wheelers, a prison, a nuclear power plant, a historic fort, a state
capitol building, and historic railroad equipment.
As the state capital of California, Sacramento is a great venue to
break into talk and commentary radio. RADIO CONNECTION's unique
mentor/apprentice program is a six month, accelerated learning course
that puts you in a real Sacramento radio station where you'll learn the
tricks to the trade from an actual Sacramento Radio DJ, On-air
personality or talk show host. Upon graduation you will have been
in contact with dozens of radio business professionals and be perfectly
positioned to further your career in radio.
