ORLANDO, Florida -- a major city in central Florida with a population of about 220,186 residents. Orlando is also home to the University of Central Florida, which is the second largest university in Florida and has the 6th largest enrollment in the U.S. Aside from the great weather and the inspiring scenery and nature, there is plenty to do in Orlando, including going to the many world-renowned art galleries and museums, playing championship golf, plus the city has some killer roller coasters, plus a very high voltage nightlife. And don’t forget the annual Florida International Beer & Food Festival in Orlando every year.


Orlando is well known for the many tourist attractions such as Walt Disney World Resort,  located in Lake Buena Vista about 20 miles south of Orlando, SeaWorld and the Universal Orlando Resort, the region sees an estimated 52 million tourists a year.  Currently downtown Orlando is undergoing a major redevelopment. But for those who live in town, the Disney Institute lets you go back to school for the day taking classes in antique hunting, gourmet cooking, rock climbing, gardening, and more.


As for famous people in Orlando – Eldrick "Tiger" Woods resides in Orlando, Florida, as does Leland "Lee" Corso a sports broadcaster and football analyst for ESPN. Daniel Lawrence Whitney a.k.a. Larry the Cable Guy – stand-up comedian currently lives in the Orlando area.


For anyone interested in learning how to be a DJ, there are a number of popular rock radio stations in Orlando, including  96.5 WHTQ FM for classic rock,. MAGIC 107.7 FM for light rock and WMMO 98.9 FM for soft rock. I Learned a more extensive walk around the board this week. Now I'm mostly confident in being able to run the board alone, as well I also learned how to do traffic bulk feeds. I also watched one of the jocks record a couple commercial spots which was very fun to watch. IM IN A REAL RADIO STATION learning !!!

This week they had me segue up the ryan seacrest show , and also put me in charge of doing his daily promos for next days shows. I am also being taught the mix bored so I can be a board op for them. I also did a little work in their scheduling program that they use to know how and when to play a track.

This week they had me dub in a lot fillers for their internet stream. I got to meet a cassie the new singer from LIL Wayne's featured single official girl. I also learned a lot in Nexgen (Program that runs the stations music). And towards the end of the week I was just starting to get into voice tracking for their HD 2 channel "club phusion". I had a big charity drive for toys 4 tots / did a lot of stuff requiring on air content too.Radio Connection is like going to class in the real  world so it prepares you for your future as you learn and make contacts.
