Broadcasting School Alternative you to go to college in a real radio
station.
That's right, with us your classroom is inside a REAL RADIO STATION and
your teacher is a WORKING RADIO BROADCASTER. This radio professional
has agreed to take you under his or her wing and tutor you, mentor you,
teach you ONE ON ONE inside the radio station.
It's a good question. We are amazed by what we do ourselves. But it's all true. For 25 years now The Radio Connection Broadcasting School Alternative has been successfully getting students like you INSIDE THE HALLS of REAL RADIO STATIONS in JUST ABOUT EVERY CITY AND OR SMALL TOWN ACROSS THE GLOBE. Because we have been around for so long we have built up relationships with some of the best radio stations in the world!
DO YOU HAVE A FAVORITE RADIO
STATION?
If you're looking into radio and broadcast schools, which you probably
are because you're on the Radio Connection website, then you most
likely have a favorite radio station or radio personality that appeals
to you beyond all reason. It may be because of the crazy antics
of one of the morning drive jocks, or it could be they play the baddest
music, or they cover the games of your local sports franchise, or their
afternoon talk show hosts incites you to riot, or maybe it's just
because they have really great contests; regardless, at some point this
radio station got permanently affixed to preset number one.

Do you have a favorite HIP HOP, URBAN CONTEMPORARY, ROCK N' ROLL, or ALTERNATIVE RADIO STATION? Are you a COUNTRY MUSIC FAN? An OLDIES FAN? Is SPORTS RADIO your thing? Are you the next Rush Limbaugh or Thom Hartmann? Do you dream of being the next Howard Stern? Is religion your passion? Auto mechanics? Finance? Fitness? There are literally thousands of different kinds of radio shows on the air today and The Radio Connection can get you inside your favorite where you will train under a radio veteran who is already doing what yoou want to do!
One of the things I love about Radio Connection is if you
sign on with us and you give us your hard earned money we work for you.
We really work for you. I have kept contact with students long after
their class has finished. They would call me up for advice, they would
email me. I don’t ignore them. That’s a very big factor for
people who are out there looking for work. I have had people call me up
and ask me, “I am going to an interview, what should I wear? Should I
cut my hair?” Things you don’t think about that people want to know.
Try that at a college after you have finished the class. Try calling
the professor and saying I have a question. Oh do you? No, that’s a
very important thing. That’s a very important factor here and in
preparing the student. I will not take a student, I have had this
happen and you know this. I have called you and I have said this isn’t
happening. This guy doesn’t know what he wants to do. He is unsure, he
is going to be tough to teach, and I am not frankly looking for tough
to teach. I am looking for eager to learn. I am looking for someone who
is psyched to do this and then we have a great relationship.
